and Maintenance Services include, but are not limited to:
- Annual
Inspection Program
- A comprehensive
inspection of your chiller by an experienced absorption specialist
who performs more than eighty (80) tests of the machine in idle
and working states.
- Multi-Year
Absorption Overhaul
- Every three
to five years an absorption chiller needs and in-depth inspection
to ensure reliability and performance. Our all-encompassing
service includes:
- Eddy Current
Tube Analysis: a non-destructive eddy current test which assesses
internal conditions of vessels and predicts the likelihood of
tube failure due to corrossion, support wear, pitting, etc.
- Solution
Pump Overhaul: inpsection and replacement of worn parts including
seals, bearings and impellers.
- Diaphragm
Valve Replacement: this replacement seals potential air leaks
that threaten absorption systems.
- Lithium
Bromide Solution Analysis: a semi-annual 12 point chemical analysis
that provides early warning of problems. Analysis includes concentration,
alkaliniity, inhibitors, dissolved metals, ammonia, corrosion
and other factors. Results are interpreted and recommendations
made in written report.
- Lithium
Bromide Solution Re-balance: a treatment of the solution returns
it to proper composition, increasing efficiency and controlling
corrosion.
- Lithium
Bromide Solution Filtration: a cleaning process that removes
harmful suspended soils from the lithium bromide solution.
- Tube Replacement:
replacement of worn or damaged tubs as indicated by tube analysis
to eliminate the high cost risk of unexpected tube failure.
- Parts and
